There is only one-way to lose weight – eat a bit less and exercise a bit more. However, if it was that easy, I imagine you wouldn’t be reading this page! Often, the simplest things can seem very hard to do. A lot of people lose weight, only to put it back on, too.  So getting slimmer and healthier is one challenge, staying that way is another!


But, imagine if you could get your mind ready for weight loss, and manage yourself and your life so you stayed that way? Just for a minute, imagine that you. Imagine how you would live your life; how you would feel about yourself, and how you would see and think about food differently. Imagine what you might do in your life, and how the people around you would feel.


My aim is to help you create the life you want: that may be managing your food better, or building more realistic exercise into your day, and having the motivation to do so.

SlimQuest meets weekly for 6 weeks, for an hour a week, and is  designed to help you learn NLP techniques to change your habits around food and exercise – so you can eat a bit less, and exercise a bit more!

How Does SlimQuest Work?

By teaching you NLP techniques that you can take back into your life and make the changes you need, to manage your  weight more effectively.

· We explore and encourage delegates to change their unhelpful beliefs and feelings about themselves and weight loss:

‘losing weight is hard work’
‘its hard to make changes’ or ‘I find it hard to make changes’
‘I don’t have the time to change my whole life’
‘I don’t like salad and fatty foods taste nicer so there’s no way I can lose weight’

· We show delegates how to focus on what they want, not what they don’t want, as this is a key driver for change eg from ‘I don’t want to be fat/unhealthy/unattractive’ to ‘I want to be slim/feel healthy/look good.’

· We teach a technique to stop delegates fighting with themselves and so gain congruence  eg the part of you that wants to lose weight v the part that wants to sit on sofa.

Also how to be kind to yourself – how to enjoy a wedding or social occasion and then get back on track the next day. Plus 6 techniques to change old habits into new ones eg how to go around the supermarket picking out wise food choices.

We don’t do diets, weigh-ins, ‘sins’ or ‘bad’ food choices. Just how to take better responsibility for what you put in your mouth, and manage weight better.

If you want to learn in private, I offer 1-2-1 SlimQuest Coaching sessions . Your 1-2-1 approach involves 6 hour long sessions, once a week, where you learn the SlimQuest NLP techniques exclusively with me. The 1-2-1 sessions give you even more opportunity to ask questions and practice with me, plus I can give you personal feedback on how you are getting on.
So you get all the benefits of the SlimQuest course and the added bonus of exclusive coaching by me.

1-2-1 Cognitive Hypnotherapy Sessions

If you have had long term issues with food, and have a sense that you need more than just techniques, then I offer confidential therapy sessions to help you overcome your personal problems with food. I ask clients to commit to the first session, then after that, you decide how many sessions you need, and the pace you need them at. This means you are in control of your solution, with my help.
